Remote Network Access
It is the policy of The University of Texas System Administration to provide employees with remote access to information resources consistent with business needs. Any remote use of resources must be in conformance with the Information Resources Use and Security Policy , (UTS165).
Remote access can be accomplished by connecting to the System Administration LAN via the following methods:
- Remote Desktop via the Terminal Server (For this option, if you need to print to a local printer, your computer must have the latest .net framework and RDC client 6.1 or later. Call the Help Desk if you need assistance.)
- VPN client access (UT System owned equipment only)
- Email options include Outlook Client Software via Remote Desktop or VPN and using Outlook via the Web.
