- Improve security to improve reliability and protect System Administration data.
- Pilot new technologies that may empower OTIS customers.
- Decrease backup and restore times for improved disaster recovery.
- Increase storage in response to customer needs.
- Implement next generation suite of leading edge solutions for e-mail, calendar, and personal contact in a framework that works best for System Administration
- Evaluate and deploy QoS for new services (VoIP, video)
- Evaluate and deploy network admission control technologies (and other security-related technologies).
Metrics to Measure Success
- Include network infrastructure service line in the annual customer satisfaction survey
- Network up-time and down-time statistics.
- Network bandwidth and usage data.
