Board of Regents' Rules and Regulations
Policies and procedures established for The University of Texas System by the Board of Regents. The Rules and Regulations of the Board of Regents of The University of Texas System for the Government of The University of Texas System were reissued on December 10, 2004.
Departmental Policies

Standards
Principles or criteria routinely used within a department to evaluate judgments or possible courses of action or conduct, or to inform decision making.
Guidelines
Principles or criteria suggested for use within a department for decision making, or for analyzing an appropriate approach to problem-solving, or an appropriate course of conduct or action. Standards are established for routine use, while guidelines are advisory only, and are not mandatory.

Manual
