DALLAS – The University of Texas Investment Management Co. (UTIMCO) Board of Directors on Wednesday (Jan. 30) elected J. Philip Ferguson of Houston as vice chairman of the board.
Ferguson was initially appointed to the UTIMCO board in 2003 and re-appointed in 2006. He currently chairs the Compensation Committee and the Risk Committee.
Ferguson is the former chief investment officer of A I M Capital Management, Inc. He holds a bachelor of business administration degree in finance from Texas Christian University, a law degree from The University of Texas Law School and a certificate in international law from City of London College.
