April 8, 2009 - Export Control Workshop - Austin, Texas
UT System Administration is hosting a workshop on Export Controls. The purpose of the workshop is to provide a basic foundation on how to set up and start an export control program at your institution. The speakers include the following national experts within the System: Dr. Susan Sedwick, Dr. Marianne Woods, Ms. Kay Ellis and Dr. Sue Rivera. Save the Date - December 3, 2008 - UT System will co-host with PRIM&R to present the IRB 250. This is an advanced IRB course, which will include both social and behavioral science issues as well as biomedical human participant issues (bio-banking, IND/IDE regulations, research conflict of interest).
The class will be one-day, and will be FREE to all UT System faculty, staff and students. Seating is limited to 150 attendees. Registration for the event may be completed on the following website. IRB 250 will be held at UT M.D. Anderson Cancer Center - Houston, Texas. See agenda. Registration will be made available soon.
