There may be instances when you suspect that a System
Administration employee's conduct is not in compliance
with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and policies.
To report suspected compliance
violations of any kind, including violations related
to the ethics policy, financial reporting, internal
accounting controls, or audit matters, talk
with your supervisor, contact the System Administration
compliance officer or manager or another appropriate
official, or contact the compliance hotline.
System Administration has contracted with an outside
vendor to provide a compliance hotline service.
All calls or online reports are accepted by the hotline
and reported to the UT System Administration Compliance
Office. The Compliance
Program, however, is not intended for handling employee
grievances, such as complaints concerning working conditions,
performance evaluations,
hours of work, wages, or merit raises, and only compliance-related
issues will be investigated.
The compliance hotline telephones are operated 24
hours a day, 365 days a year. You can report information
anonymously to a trained professional
who will ask you questions. A report will be provided
to the System Administration compliance officer, the
assistant vice chancellor for employee services, and
the general law section manager of the Office of General
Counsel within one business
day of your call. All reports are investigated and
addressed as appropriate.

retaliation against any employee who, in good
faith, reports an instance
of suspected wrongdoing or participates in an investigation
pertaining

The System Administration compliance hotline is intended
for use by employees of System Administration.
If, however, you are an employee of another UT
System
institution and you observe conduct
not in compliance with laws, rules, regulations,
or policies, you are encouraged to report the situation
to your supervisor, department
head, institutional compliance officer, or your
institution's compliance hotline (see the list
of hotline phone
numbers below).
If you are not comfortable reporting the situation to your institution
and want to contact System Administration officials about the matter,
please report the situation to the System-wide Compliance Officer
