TLAC is the largest animal shelter in Central Texas, providing shelter to more than 23,000 animals each year and animal control services to all of Austin and Travis County. It is an open-intake facility - no animal will be turned away.

Dorinda Pulliam, Director for Town Lake Animal Shelter, will be presenting on the Town Lake Animal center’s accomplishments for the last fiscal year for 2008-2009 along with a brief presentation of the new City of Austin Animal Center to break ground in early Spring of 2010.
