The Blood Center of Central Texas Encourages Donors to Give From the Heart!
“Give from the Heart” this February 8 through February 11! Donate blood at one of The Blood Center of Central Texas Donor Centers and be automatically entered to win one of three Valentine’s Day gift packages. One lucky donor from each donor center location will win a gift package that includes: A $100 uchi/uchiko gift card, a 1-hour massage from Massage Envy and a Hey Cupcake! gift card for a 6-pack of mini cupcakes! Winners will be contacted on February 12.

The Blood Center of Central Texas needs to collect hundreds of blood donations each day to meet the community need. By donating blood and understanding that Life is in your hands, you are helping to ensure that this life-sustaining blood is available whenever you, or a loved one, need it. Basic requirements to donate blood include being at least 17 years old, weighing at least 115 lbs for whole blood donation and being in generally good health. Donors need to bring a photo ID. The process takes approximately 45 minutes to one hour.
