Get fresh, local produce delivered to you at work!
UT Austin has invited employees from UT System Administration to join their Farm-to-Work program – what a great opportunity to add more fruits and veggies to your day!
Through the Farm-to-Work Program, the Sustainable Food Center, a local non-profit, will connect UT Austin and UT System Administration to local farmers to provide farm-fresh deliveries.
How it works:
Purchase your box of produce online for $20 by Mondays at 5:00 p.m. Initially we will be limited to 100 orders per week. There is no cost to join, no commitment to a weekly purchase and always a chance to unsubscribe.
Pick up your produce on Wednesdays during the designated time and location. If you do not want to purchase a box this week but may want to in the future, you can sign up for weekly reminders on the website. Just click on “Sign Me Up!”
Important things to remember:
- Please bring a bag (i.e., reusable grocery bag) with you to pick up your produce.
- We do not have the capacity to store and distribute produce after the designated pick up time. Unclaimed produce will not be available for pick up at a later time, and no credit or refund will be issued for unclaimed orders. If you are unable to pick up your produce, you may ask another person to pick it up for you.
- We will not be able to sell boxes of produce on the pick-up day. Please make your purchase online on Mondays before 5 o’clock.
