State Resources:

  • Foundation for Women's Resources - This international, nonprofit, educational organization, founded in 1973, develops nonpartisan projects and programs to improve the status of women.
  • Leadership Texas - A leadership development program to provide women leaders with essential information, an awareness of ongoing changes, sharpened skills, and the initiative, where necessary, to rewrite the rules.
  • Women's Chamber of Commerce of Texas - Promotes economic development for women focusing on three principal areas - education, networking and advocacy.
  • Texas Leadership Center - Supported by the Texas Association of School Administrators, this center is a research and development center dedicated to building the capacity and strengthening the leadership of the public schools. The Center offers a variety of programs.
  • The Nonprofit Resource Center of Texas - Offers the technical assistance, consultation, and training opportunities for board members, staff and volunteers of nonprofit and philanthropic organizations.
  • Thompson Conference Center - A catalog of Professional Development Programs offered each semester through the Division of Continuing Education at The University of Texas at Austin.
