Regents to Meet in Austin on June 21

The Board of Regents of The University of Texas System will hold a special called meeting of the board beginning at approximately 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 21.

The regents will meet to interview the finalists for the presidency of UT Pan American. The interviews will take place in executive session, but any vote will be taken in public after the interviews at approximately 6:45 p.m. Shortly following the vote, the new president, along with UT System officials, will be available to answer reporters' questions.

Reporters wishing to listen to the open session portion of the meeting may do so in person on the 9th floor of Ashbel Smith Hall, 201 W. 7th Street in Austin.

Parking for the news media will be available at the guard kiosk on Colorado Street between 7th and 6th Streets.
