UT System Regents to meet September 15

The University of Texas System Board of Regents will hold a special meeting by telephone conference call on Monday, September 15, in Austin.

The Board will convene in open session at 3:30 p.m. and immediately recess to executive session to discuss time-sensitive legal and gift matters, including discussion of matters related to the ongoing independent investigation of admissions practices at UT Austin. The Board will reconvene in open session at approximately 4:30 p.m. to consider action, if any, on executive session items and to discuss other matters in open session.

The meeting is expected to adjourn at approximately 5 p.m.

Members of the news media may listen to open session portions of the meeting on the ninth floor of Ashbel Smith Hall, 201 W. 7th Street. Parking is available at the guard kiosk on Colorado Street between 6th and 7th streets.
