UT System Regents to meet Friday

AUSTIN — The University of Texas System Board of Regents will hold a special meeting via telephone conference call at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 23, on the ninth floor of Ashbel Smith Hall, 201 W. 7th St.

The Board will meet in executive session to consider recommendations from the search advisory committee tasked with assisting the Board in the selection of a President for UT Tyler and may take action in open session to invite individuals to interview with the Board.

The Board will also consider proposed consent agenda items, including agreements with Salesforce.com, Inc. and Salesforce.org for the development of the Total Educational Experience (TEx) version 2.0, an initiative of the Institute for Transformational Learning.

The meeting is expected to adjourn at about 11:30 a.m.
