UT System Regents’ Academic Affairs Committee to meet Friday

AUSTIN — The Academic Affairs Committee of The University of Texas System Board of Regents will hold a special called meeting via telephone conference call at 10 a.m., Friday, Aug. 11, on the ninth floor of Ashbel Smith Hall, 201 W. 7th St. in Austin.

The Committee will meet in open session to explore and discuss potential new guidelines for future tuition and fee requests from academic institutions; recommendations of the Faculty Workload Task Force; proposed changes to admission criteria for UT Rio Grande Valley graduate programs; and a potential contract for a student internship matching program.

The meeting is expected to adjourn at about 11:30 a.m.
