Founded in 2001, The Archer Center is where Texas meets the world. As the Washington, D.C., campus of The University of Texas System, the Center provides talented undergraduate and graduate students from across The UT System with the opportunity to live, learn, and intern in the nation's capital.
The Student Health Center Advisory Committee advises UT System officials about issues relevant to the operation and practice of student health centers across all fourteen institutions.
Each of our eight institutions has a Veterans Institutional Office or Center with helpful information for members of the military community.
In February 2012, The University of Texas System Board of Regents approved the establishment of the Regents’ Outstanding Student Awards in Arts and Humanities to recognize student achievement in these areas. To acknowledge student achievement in the arts and humanities, The University of Texas System Board of Regents will commend outstanding students and student groups excelling in one of three areas: the musical arts, the visual arts, and creative writing.
The UT System Chancellor’s “A Framework for Advancing Excellence throughout The University of Texas System” requires that UT System institutions “set clear criteria and expectations in an agreement, between student and department regarding time-to-completion including incentives, deadlines and consequences for failing to meet expectations.”
