The university pediatric dentistry program is administered by the Department of Developmental Dentistry. It is approved and accredited by the American Dental Association Council of Dental Education. Upon successful completion of all dental school requirements, you will be awarded a Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry. Our graduates meet the advanced education eligibility requirements of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
This 24-month pediatric dentistry residency program offers two locations: San Antonio or Laredo. Our Laredo pediatric dental residents live and work in Laredo, and they participate in classroom activities by teleconference as a distant-training site.
