Center for Enhancing Philanthropy

Main page content

Nationally, philanthropy is an ever-increasing and vital revenue stream for higher education and academic medicine. In 2008, the UT System Board of Regents established the Center for Enhancing Philanthropy (CEP) as the nation's first system-led program to strengthen institutional fundraising programs and expand the role of philanthropy.

CEP advances the missions of the UT System and UT institutions as a cost-effective strategic partner through two primary service areas:

  1. Data, Assessments, and Strategic Projects - offering industry best practices, benchmarking, analyses, recommendations, and tailored reports for institutional data-driven decisions

  2. Professional Development - providing highly-rated customized training programs featuring national and UT institutional experts to develop and retain quality advancement professionals
