Last year brought incredible urgency to address diversity, equity, inclusion, and racial justice issues across all facets of our institutions. Presidents have set institutional goals to make a difference in DEi, and advance ment, as the bridge between the institution and external constituents, plays a large role in those efforts . This presentation
includes new research and strategies on how advancement can leverage its strengths to make significant progress on DEi initiatives with donors, alu mni, and staff. Participants will takeaway strategies to: create a more
diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace for staff; engage alumni inclusively and equitably ; marshalI resources to fundraise for campus diversity , equity, and inclusion initiatives.

Presenter Jenna Dell, is an EAB engagement strategist with over a decade of experience in higher education and the non-profit sector. She works with EAB members across the Advancement, Academic Affairs, and Student Affairs forums to provide decision support and build consensus rooted in best practice research.
