Regents’ Health Research Scholars Program Announced
On December 9, 2009, the U. T. System Board of Regents authorized $5 million to establish a matching fund program to help recruit the country’s top faculty researchers to U. T. System health institutions.

Oath of Office Ceremony
The morning of May 13, 2009, Governor Perry administered the oath of office to new Regents Hicks, Powell, and Stillwell. Chairman Huffines, who was reappointed to the Board in February, also took the oath of office.
