AUSTIN – The University of Texas System Board of Regents will meet in Austin on Wednesday, July 11. The meeting will be held on the ninth floor of Ashbel Smith Hall, 201 W. 7th Street.

Parking for credentialed news media will be available at the guard kiosk on Colorado Street between 7th and 6th Streets.

Out-of-town reporters and the general public may view the open sessions of the meeting via a live webcast.

The agenda book for the meeting is available online. Reporters are encouraged to print the agenda book as hard copies are no longer available at Board meetings.

The meeting will begin at 1:30 p.m.; agenda items include:

• Announcement of health institution recipients of the 2012 Regents’ Outstanding Teaching Awards and remarks by representative faculty
• Proposed approval of an amendment to the agreement between UT Medical Branch at Galveston and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for the provision of correctional health care services
• Authorization for KUT Radio at UT Austin to purchase KXBT-FM Radio from Border Media Business Trust, a Delaware common law trust

The Board will recess to executive session at approximately 2:45 p.m. Any action will be taken in public. The meeting will adjourn at approximately 4:00 p.m.
