On August 19, 2009, The University of Texas System Board of Regents announced the recipients of the inaugural Regents’ Outstanding Teaching Awards for the nine academic institutions. Offered in recognition of those who serve our undergraduates in an exemplary manner and as an incentive for others who aspire to such service, the awards also represent the UT System’s commitment to continuous improvement in the quality of the education its faculty provides to its students.
