UT System Regents to Meet via Telephone Conference Call on July 30

AUSTIN – The Board of Regents of The University of Texas System will hold a special called meeting by telephone on Monday, July 30, in Austin. The meeting will be held on the ninth floor of Ashbel Smith Hall, 201 W. 7th Street.

The Board will convene in open session at approximately 3:00 p.m. and immediately recess into executive session for discussion and appropriate action concerning individual personnel matters related to the appointment of a president at UT Health Science Center -Houston, including discussion of individual candidates to be invited to interview.

The Board will reconvene in open session for any action on the executive session item and the meeting is expected to adjourn no later than 4:00 p.m.
