The University of Texas Systemwide Brain Research Summit 2026

2026 Brain Summit

Instituting Change Through Collaboration

This past year has brought remarkable progress in brain research, including significant advancements that will accelerate discoveries in dementia, Parkinson’s disease, and related conditions through the newly launched Dementia Prevention Research Institute of Texas (DPRIT). These developments underscore the importance of continued collaboration and shared learning across institutions and disciplines.

We hope you will join us for the 2026 Summit as we build on this momentum. The event will once again offer rich opportunities for learning, networking, and forging partnerships that can strengthen multi-sector collaboration, connect researchers across the UT System, and enhance the impact of current and future grant initiatives.

High Level Agenda

This year, we will again have a Poster Session. Applications for Poster Session are due on July 15, 2026.
