UT FLEX Grace Period for 2014-2015 HCRA Accounts
The UT FLEX Grace Period allows UT FLEX Health Care Reimbursement Account (HCRA) participants an additional 2 ½ months each year (September 1 through November 15) to incur eligible expenses at the end of the plan year. By incurring expenses for eligible health-related products or services during the grace period, UT FLEX HCRA participants can avoid forfeiting any leftover funds from the 2014-2015 plan year that ended on August 31, 2015. The UT FLEX Dependent Day Care Reimbursement Account (DCRA) does not include a grace period.
Notice for UT FLEX HCRA Participants:
The grace period for your 2014-2015 UT FLEX HCRA will end on Sunday, November 15, 2015.
Notice for UT FLEX DCRA Members:
The grace period does not apply to the Dependent Day Care Reimbursement Account.
UT FLEX Claims Filing Deadline - All Accounts
The 2014-2015 plan year ended on August 31, 2015. All UT FLEX HCRA and DCRA claims for that year, including those incurred during the grace period for the HCRA, must be submitted (faxed, uploaded, or postmarked) no later than Monday, November 30, 2015, or they will not be eligible for reimbursement.
