The Office of Telecommunication Service (OTS) Portal provides services to thirty-two organizations in the OTS UT System Wide Area Network. Twenty are a part of UT System and twelve are independent entities. Portal customers can access pertinent real time graphs, their network status, alerts and maintenance, projects, services, and contracts.
Network Status features current network usage, the OTS Backbone Network Map, operational status, and real time traffic graphs. Customers may also see how they connect to the network by looking at the Status Map. Customer Projects, access to project design documents, and the number of support hours provided by OTS are some additional features that are found in the portal.
Service Requests allows a customer to not only view new tickets, but to also create tickets. Portal customers can view network alerts, emergency maintenance, planned maintenance.
