We offered 24 educational sessions over two days, providing colleagues the opportunity to glean great ideas and best practices that they can incorporate in the excellent work they’re doing at their respective campuses.
Other highlights of the conference included the Newcomer’s Welcome for more than 300 colleagues who joined UT institutions in the last three years; a reception and dinner for nearly 500 conference attendees at the Austin Club; a special philanthropy program that featured Maureen and Kelly Hackett of the Hackett Family Foundation; and a University Lands – Texas Treasure conversation hosted by Chancellor Milliken that explored the history, current state and future of the uniquely Texas Permanent University Fund (PUF).
