Event Description
Gifts through trusts and estate plans are a critical component of a well-rounded fundraising strategy. These gifts are often among the largest a donor will make to your institution and carry with them the expectation that their intent will be honored and executed with care.
Because of their complexity and impact, trusts and estate gifts demand special attention and institutional oversight. This session will guide you through the entire process—from initial notification to final realization—including which gifts require approval by the Board of Regents.
Who Should Attend: This session is designed for Advancement Services professionals involved in the administration of planned gifts at the institutional level, as well as Planned Giving and Gift Officers who work directly with donors on these types of contributions.
