Required Assessments

These tests will help you increase your understanding about yourself and your relations with others.

  • DISC Profile Personality Assessment. Protegees and sponsors will be sent an email with a link to the web-based DISC Profile Personality Assessment by HRDPress (http://www.hrdpress.com/DISC) in early January 2018. The test can be completed in less than 30 min. Your individual results will be distributed to you at the Workshop, so you can use the results to participate in the related sessions. Please be assured that aggregate results will be reported in a de-identified format.
  • Another item of pre-work is the "Emotional Quotient-Inventory 2.0®."
    • In early January 2018, protégées and sponsors can expect to be sent an email from MHS Assessments with a link (http://www.mhs.com) to a web-based instrument called EQ-i 2.0. It can be completed in less than 30 min.
    • You will receive your individual results at the workshop and the test and its results will be used in related sessions.
    • Please be assured that any and all aggregate results will be reported and presented in a de-identified (anonymous) format.

 

Required Pre-Symposium Work

  1. Self-Promotion Skills Practice Handout This will be used during Dr. Miller's Skills Practice session - Day 1.
  2. Early January: For Workshop Day #1 sessions with Dr. Miller Assignment instruction to Protegees, Message Mapping description, and Communication Survey.
