An effective teacher has a message and creates the best environment for the student to internalize the message so as to become a better worker, family member, volunteer, and community member.
I believe the key to learning management theory is by doing. Triangulating in-class roleplaying, simulations, and case analyses with hands-on field projects, the student not only plans how to do things, but puts the plans into action and witnesses the fruit of their labors. What I like the most about our field projects is that they allow our students to use their acquired and refined management skills to give back to the community.
