Tuition and Fee Estimates for Cross-Campus Courses

The tuition and fee amounts listed below refer to the estimated cost charged to a degree seeking student enrolled at one UT Institution (home institution), who is approved to register for one or more cross-campus courses at another UT institution (host institution). The estimated cost applies only to the tuition and fees charged for cross campus course(s) provided by the host institution, and would be in addition to any tuition and fees charged to the student for courses they are enrolled in at their home institution.

Each host campus will bill cross-campus students directly, and the information below is provided to help estimate total costs. Cost varies by host campus and is applied based on a number of factors including residency status, degree level, total Semester Credit Hours taken at host campus, etc., and amounts may vary from what is listed here due to additional departmental fees.

For specific information about host campus costs for cross-campus courses, please click on the links on the campus names in the below tables to be routed to the host institution's websites.

Additional contacts for host-campuses can be found in the Campus Resources and Contacts page in the Student Support section of our website.

Please email Finish@UTSystem.edu with any questions.

Billing/Payment Information

Each host campus will bill cross-campus students directly. The information above is provided to help estimate total cost by session, however students should always rely on their actual tuition bill for calculating payment. Payment for a cross-campus course should be submitted directly to the host campus, and - just like at your home campus - failure to pay by the host campus' deadline will result in being dropped from a course.

Information on viewing and paying your tuition and fee bill should be included in the email you receive from the host campus registrar after you are enrolled in your requested course, and students are responsible for ensuring host campus payment policies are adhered to.

The registrar of the host university can help answer any questions you might have regarding the amount of your fee bill.

Payment Deadlines

Payment deadlines vary by host campus and semester term and can be found in the Academic Calendars page in the Student Support section of our website.

Students applying for financial aid from their home institution are encouraged to make payment arrangements with the host institution until their financial aid award is distributed from their home campus, to avoid the risk of being dropped from cross-campus courses for not meeting payment deadlines.

Financial Aid

In most cases, cross-campus online courses can be used to meet financial aid enrollment requirements at your home campus.

All financial aid is handled by your home campus. Students requesting financial aid should begin the enrollment and financial aid process as early as possible.

Students are encouraged to make payment arrangements with the host institution until their financial aid award is distributed from their home campus, to avoid the risk of being dropped from cross-campus courses for not meeting payment deadlines.

Additional information regarding financial aid can be addressed to distance education financial aid representative at your home campus.

Veterans Benefits

For information on how Veterans Benefits might be applied to cross-campus online courses, please contact the Veterans Affairs Office at your home campus for assistance.
