The Office of Communications (512-499-4363) is responsible for developing and overseeing The University of Texas System’s internal and external efforts to inform and involve the public, employees and other constituents. This is accomplished through the following areas:

Media Relations works with journalists and media contacts throughout Texas and across the nation to tell the story of the UT System, answer questions, and provide information to help the public better understand the System’s mission. The team also partners with UT System experts from fields as varied as education and pedagogy to nuclear energy to population health to produce articles and opinion pieces on important issues and challenges facing higher education and the world at large.
