During this conference, participants will engage with national thought leaders and colleagues from across The University of Texas System to explore the future of student career success in the classroom and beyond. Participants will:

  • Experience innovative and holistic career education pedagogies that are designed to be integrated into the academic experience. By stepping into the role of the student, attendees will discover how integrative life and career learning can transform the academic experience through curiosity, play, and reflection.
  • Learn through keynotes, panels, and group discussions how the strategic implementation of this work can be implemented on your campus.
  • Design new pilot programs with a team of your campus colleagues that can start to transform the career ecosystem at your institution.

Forming Your Campus Team

This conference is meant to give participants exposure to innovative career frameworks, access to national experts who can share implementation examples, and an opportunity to collaborate and bring new meaningful ideas back to their respective campuses.

In the spirit of this collaboration, each UT System institution is convening a cross-functional team of six to ten individuals that represent academic affairs, career services, student affairs, student success, faculty, institutional research and data, and other units that can help to reframe career success through a broader and more holistic strategy.

*This conference is by invitation only.

Need help brainstorming who should attend? Email Nathan Langfitt, conference co-chair, for guidance.
