UTRetirement Manager offers resources to help you plan for your financial future. It is a secure web site that enables you to review your retirement savings and helps you project how much you may need to save for retirement.

UTRetirement Manager is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can use it to:

  • Learn about your UT System Retirement Programs.
  • View a summary of your Retirement Program balances.
  • Enroll in and make changes to your Retirement Programs.
  • Read Financial Education articles on a range of topics about financial planning.
  • Use Financial Calculators to help you determine how much of your salary you may need to save for your future.  

Need help logging onto and using UTRetirement Manager? The following resources are available:

To enroll in the Retirement Programs, follow these simple steps:

  • Select the retirement plan you wish to contribute to. If you are unsure about which plan to choose please see Retirement Programs at a glance .
  • Choose a Provider from the list of approved Providers and follow their enrollment instructions to set up an account.
  • Log onto UTRetirement Manager . Need help logging onto and using UTRetirement Manager? View the Quick Reference Guide .
  • Click on the Enroll/Make Changes Tab (For the UTSaver TSA, you should contact your Benefits Office for a calculation of your contribution limit).
  • Follow the instructions on the Enroll/Change screen.
  • Complete applications and beneficiary forms and return those directly to the Provider before contributions are deducted from your paycheck.

Change Contributions

To direct your future contributions to a different provider, follow these simple steps:

  • Log onto  UTRetirement Manager  and click on the Enroll/Change page for the appropriate plan.
  • Follow the instructions on the Enroll/Change screen.
  • Choose a Provider from the list of approved Providers and follow their enrollment instructions to set up an account. Complete applications and beneficiary forms and return them directly to the Provider before contributions are deducted from your paycheck.

You may change the destination of your future contributions without transferring your accumulated account balances. 

Tranfer Funds

You may transfer some or all of your existing retirement balances between providers by following the below instructions.

  • Choose your provider(s) from the list of  authorized providers  and make your investment fund selections.
  • Complete a  Transfer Verification Form  for each provider surrendering or receiving funds.
  • Contact the receiving provider's representative and your Benefits Office for processing.
