You may only enroll in or make changes to your benefits at certain times:
Annual Enrollment – Held each summer for a September 1 plan year start/effective date.
Newly Eligible for Benefits – You are a new employee or your job changed to a benefits-eligible position.
Mid-Year Change of Status – You or your dependent had a life event or a job change that affected eligibility or the need for benefits.
Getting Ready to Retire – You are retiring under TRS or ORP as a UT System Retired Employee.
Termination of Employment / COBRA Coverage – You are terminating your employment with a UT institution or your dependent is no longer eligible.
