
Timekeepers provide valuable support to their office by helping to ensure compliance with laws and policy. They provide assistance to employees and managers in the areas of time reporting and leave balances.
Timekeepers assist departments by:
- Ensuring timesheets are submitted and approved within 90-days
- Ensuring hourly staff timesheets are submitted and approved in accordance with the Payroll Schedule
- Review timesheets to help ensure compliance with policies
- Training new employees on leave request & time reporting requirements and systems
- Assisting employees and managers with time reporting and leave balance matters
- Notifying OTI of leave matters such as medical leave or extended leave
